For the amount of work that would take you could probably build half a dozen engines that would make more than enough power. Why do you need such a high revving VG? What combination of rules and competition requirements are forcing the VG block on this project? Not to be too much of a dick but this whole thing makes no sense at all. Even if it all comes together you'd end up with a one off block and piston set that would be murderously expensive to repair if something goes wrong. Hell, if anything, for road racing, focus your time and attention on chassis and suspension setup. Kuah was only making something like 400rwhp when he was a close 4th behind a trio of factory prepped cars.
